An anime coming for NieR Automata fans
As the months pass, the NieR: Automata Ver1.1a project continues to ramp up the pressure, with only a few weeks to go until its release begins. The animated series takes on the challenge of adapting the NieR Automata game universe, a phenomenon that has sold more than 7 million copies worldwide since its release on February 23, 2017, according to the most recent results. If the creator of the franchise, Yoko Taro, took the lead in specifying that the story would not be quite identical to that of the video game, adaptation obliges, we can clearly expect a high-flying series on the narrative and visual plan.
NieR: Automata Ver1.1a introduces Adam and Eve
Directed by Ryōji Masuyama via the A-1 Pictures studio, the anime NieR: Automata Ver1.1a has made a habit of regularly sharing new content with its fans presenting the characters that will be found in the series. After Androids 2B and 9S, Commander White and Pascal, the brand new trailer confirms the presence of the twins Adam and Eve in the animated version. These particular life forms with a very similar appearance to androids should play a decisive role in the anime.
A magnificent illustration of these two beautiful but dangerous characters and a trailer featuring them have been unveiled. Comments from Daisuke Namikawa (Adam) and Tatsuo Suzuki (Eve) have also been posted. – Famitsu on Twitter
The animated adaptation seems to have wanted to make a point of accentuating the unreal character of the two twins by refining their character design a little more compared to the game. According to Daisuke Namikawa, the voice actor who voices Adam , the ambiguity that emanates from their design illustrates both the awe and the fascination they inspire. For Tatsuhisa Suzuki who plays the role of Eve, it was necessary to deliver a more refined interpretation of this character for the series because it will turn out to be different from that of the game. To what extent? We will know at the beginning of January!
NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime series will air from January 2023.
