Nothing Phone (1) was originally introduced in July. Since then, the equipment has received several updates, the most recent being Nothing OS 1.1.7.
This arrives with some smartphone improvements, but still does not bring what some might expect: Android 13. But it has already received the November security patch.
October and November security patch hits Nothing Phone (1)
As you can see in the image shared by a user on Twitter, it now supports the possibility of seeing the battery status of the AirPods. It is a feature referred to as experimental and can be enabled in Settings.
As mentioned above, this update brings users the October and November Android security patch. Fluidity has also been improved and possible stuttering of the operating system has been reduced.
The performance and temperature have been balanced by adjusting the thermal part of the device, and the audio quality when recording videos has been improved. You can also expect more accuracy in battery status. Responsiveness issue in WhatsApp notifications has also been resolved.
You should bear in mind that this update has started to reach the smartphone, and it was flagged by Carl Pei on Twitter. However, it may not be available to all users. It’s my case that, at the time of writing, I still haven’t received Nothing OS 1.1.7 on my test device.
