Outer Terror was shown by Game Informer with a video from gameplay which includes twelve minutes of in-game action from the horror shooter, coming to PC via Steam “soon”.
Playable alone or in co-op with a friend, the title developed by Salt & Pixel takes up a formula that is going quite strong right now, see our review of the phenomenal roguelike Vampire Survivors.
Accompanied by minimalist, retro-style graphics, we will be able to choose our survivor from among ten different characters and use specific weapons and skills to face increasingly numerous hordes of monsters.
As the editors of Game Informer explain, the demo presented in the video currently has a purely roguelike character, in the sense that it resets all progress in the event of a game over, and it will be necessary to understand whether or not the full game will continue on this path .
The release of Outer Terror will probably take place in the course of 2023, for now only on PC, but it is not known if there will be a period in early access.
