In these times of super expensive technology, it is starting to be important to advise consumers to forget about the latest news on the market, to start looking at what already exists on the shelves. The perfect example of this is the range Radeon RX 6000 da AMDwhich still delivers an absolutely incredible level of performance, finally at prices that make sense.
In short, why pay €1000 for a new generation graphics card? You have to analyze your case, and understand what you really need. What is new is not always the best for you. (Especially at these prices!)
Radeon RX 7000? Calm! Radeon RX 6000 are getting cheap
Therefore, at a time when the launch of the new Radeon RX 7000 is imminent (first two weeks of December), the prices of the ‘old’ Radeon RX 6000 are finally falling to levels that make sense for consumers. (Hallelujah!)
So, as the new graphics cards will cost between €899 and €999 (base price), AMD and partners are now lowering the price of super powerful cards like the Radeon RX 6900 XT, which in some stores is already a little more €600, while the Radeon RX 6800 XT is just over €500.
Meanwhile, we still have the Radeon RX 6700 XT, a mid-range graphics card capable of beating the RTX 3070, at just over €300. If you think this is still a bit exaggerated, boards like the RX 6650 XT are available for around €250.
However, it is necessary to take into account that these are prices that have just started to appear in North American stores, and that is why it is a trend that may take a while to reach Europe.
