The release of the plot thriller is approaching Marvel’s Midnight Sunsand companies 2k and Firaxis released another preview trailer. This time it focuses on the combat system, and the players are explained how they will have to fight against numerous opponents on the way to Lilith.
Before the start of the battle, we not only choose heroes for our squad, but also assign special skills to them. The combat system of Midnight Suns is based on cards, and on our turn we will be able to choose how our allies will attack enemies.
In addition, during the course of the battle, fighters can set traps, heal allies, and accumulate a level of heroism to unleash a devastating special blow. Victory will require not strength, but primarily tactical cunning.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns releases December 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch release expected in 2023.
