Initially released only for the Chinese market, the GKD (Game Kiddy) Mini Plus portable mini console will appear on Kickstarter at a price of $139 with pre-order. After the full cost of the console will be $279. The console can already be booked on the GKD website, but the exact timing of the sale has not yet been announced.
GKD Mini Plus almost completely repeats the design of the original GKD mini, differing from the previous version with improved performance and a version with built-in sticks. The handheld console features over 2,500 retro games such as the classic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. In total, two versions of portable consoles have been released: GKD Mini Plus Classic and GKD Mini Plus (with built-in sticks and two microSD slots), a separate removable unit with sticks is also sold, connected to the GKD Mini Plus Classic via USB-C.
