Spain head coach Luis Enrique shared his expectations for the 2022 World Cup second round match against Germany (November 27):
“Germany is constantly attacking, trying to put pressure, take possession of the ball. We are very similar, so for the Spanish national team this match is a real challenge. It will be an open game. Let’s see which one of us opens the account. The Germans have history and world-class players, but we are convinced that we can win.
We got it right in the last game. I think you will see that Costa Rica is a really good team. But our goal is not to repeat that result, but to impose the game in which, it seems to me, we are superior to Germany. But anything can happen.”
