For the first time since the introduction of the three-tier PlayStation Plus program, membership can again be purchased at a discount. This applies to Essential, Extra and Premium. A 25 percent discount is granted for Black Friday week.
Update: It’s even cheaper, as a look at Amazon confirms. There are special discounts on the already discounted PS Plus memberships via reduced-price prepaid cards.

Original message: Black Friday brings a hefty discount to all players who want to subscribe to PlayStation Plus. 25 percent are deducted from the conventional price, which means that a year of PS Plus Premium can be bought for 89.99 euros instead of 119.99 euros. Essential and Extra have also been reduced in price.

The reduced prices can be claimed on the PlayStation website.
The shorter terms can still be selected, but without a discount. Monthly membership costs 8.99, 13.99 or 16.99 euros, depending on the level selected. Three months of PS Plus are available for 24.99, 39.99 or 49.99 euros. Compared to the annual membership – especially in the sale – these are not lucrative options.
Players who want to test PS Plus first without obligation can still sign up for a trial membership, which costs nothing for seven days. If not canceled within this period, the offer will be converted into a regular subscription.
This is what the three PS Plus levels offer
PlayStation Plus this year transitioned to the three-tier model, which includes Essential, Extra, and Premium options. The features and benefits differ depending on the tier you choose.
Essential is similar to the PlayStation Plus model that gamers have come to expect for years. Included are monthly new games from the Instant Games Collection, access to the online multiplayer modes and exclusive discounts. Also part of PS Plus Essential is Cloud Storage, Share Play and the PlayStation Plus Collection.
All Essential components are also included in the Extra membership. On top of that, subscribers at this level get a games catalog with hundreds of games and access to Ubisoft+ Classics.
If you want even more, access PlayStation Plus Premium. Additional features include the classics catalogue, game trials and cloud streaming.
