Black Friday 2022: this 5G smartphone went below €275
Overall, the Samsung A3 5G is a rather efficient mid-range phone that won over with its many qualities. The only disadvantages are a not very powerful chip which will heat up in game, and its autonomy which is not exemplary.
The A33 offers us a beautiful 6.4-inch diagonal Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The brightness is good with a maximum of 787cd/m², and a minimum of 1.8cd/m², which ensures good readability at night.
The SoC is an Exynos 1280 with 6GB of RAM, the same equipment as the Galaxy A53, which is more upscale. The chip offers two 2.4Ghz Cortex-A78 cores and six 2Ghz Cortex-A55 cores, while the graphics chipset is an ARM Mali-G78. In short, in normal use, there will be no slowdown, and only video games on greedy titles (like CoD Mobile or Genshin Impact) can place this SoC in default.
The photo is managed by a quadruple sensor with a 48MP wide-angle, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, a 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The front module is 13MP in order to have quality selfies.
Autonomy is 15 hours in normal use, thanks in part to a generous 5000mAh battery which is compatible with fast charging. Know that you can last longer by switching the display from 90Hz to 60Hz and by moderating the use of 5G.
