By completing the timed research you will also get 570 Experience Points and 570 Stardust. Niantic has obviously also planned a series of event bonuses, i.e. Experience Points multiplied by 1.25 in case of victory in raids against Ultra Beasts, greater chance of receiving XL Rare Candies in live Raids and up to a maximum of 5 free raid tickets by spinning Gym photo discs during or until two hours after the conclusion of the event. Not even one is missing bonus for groups: When you defeat an Ultra Beast in a raid, some Pokémon (Machoke, Scyther, Magmar, Gulpin, Absol, Minccino, Frillish, and Dedenne) will appear for a short time near the Gym that hosted the raid.
