According to what reported by MakingStarWars, YouTube channel dedicated to news on the saga, the processing of a new movie from Star Wars. It would have been a source inside the Pinewood studios in the United Kingdom, where almost all of the films in the saga were shot.
According to Deep Throat, construction should start in April and May 2023. The source did not mention the director or cast, but given other very recent rumors, it could be the film by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Love and Thunder) that has been talked about for a long time time.
Lucasfilm is silent on the subject, as is normal.
According to what has been learned, Disney would have three new Star Wars movies planned, two of which would already have their release dates. The first should arrive on December 19, 2025, while the second on December 17, 2027. Giving good rumors, the timing of the start of production of the new film would be perfectly in line with what was planned.
