Reigning WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk (16-0, 9 KOs) traveled to the UK, where he will have a unification bout with EBU title holder Frenchman Ivan Mendy (47-5-1, 22 KOs).
The fight will take place on December 3 in London. The fight between Berinchyk and Mendy is included in the undercard of the meeting between WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora.
Prior to this, Denis Berinchyk was preparing for a duel in Montenegro.
Earlier, the coach of the Ukrainian boxer Yegor Golub spoke about Berinchyk’s plans for a fight with Mendy.
