Renowned Call of Duty connoisseur and insider Ralphs Valve has spoken up via What If Gaming and now claims that a spin-off campaign based on the character Ghost is in the works. Infinity Ward is already busy with the development. In this respect, the insider relies on unnamed sources, but mentioned in this context that it was someone who was involved in the project and who made the information available.
Infinity Ward has also contacted Ghost’s voice actor, Samuel Roukin, to further develop the character’s presence in the Call of Duty series. Ghost’s past may also be addressed, so fans of the long-running franchise may finally see the face behind the mysterious mask.
According to the source, it is still unclear whether this spin-off campaign is part of the developer studio’s plans for 2023. Rumor has it that next year there will not be a fully-fledged new Call of Duty, but instead only an extensive premium add-on for Modern Warfare 2. In view of the new speculation, it seems quite possible that the supposed Ghost campaign will be part of this add-on -ons could be.
