As you well know by now, the DC Comics universe has been entrusted to the expert hands of James Gunn, who has recently released some details about his plans for the superhero video games.
On Twitter, in fact, the director confirmed that all upcoming animation, cinematic or streaming platform projects will be connected to each other. In response to the tweet, someone asked whether or not video games were part of this unified vision, and Gunn’s response was a curt ‘yes’. As you can imagine, therefore, the details on which titles will begin to integrate into the new narrative course of the DC Comics universe are not known. In any case it is unlikely Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of them, since the development is in an advanced stage and the developers themselves have confirmed that it is part of theArkham universeunlike Gotham Knights.
It is therefore not excluded that the first product that could adapt to this new philosophy is the Wonder Woman game from the creators of Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor and its sequel. The title in question has never been shown to the public and it is probable that the developers can shape the story in such a way as to ‘fit’ it in the new DC Comics universe directed by Gunn.
