After a remarkable release in cinemas, the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is preparing for a version in a completely different format!
Dragon Ball anime comics, a real institution
Announced in the pages of the famous Japanese pre-publication magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, the upcoming release of an anime comics entirely dedicated to the latest Dragon Ball feature film will probably not only concern Japan. Indeed, if the anime comics of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is currently only announced on the archipelago for December 2, it is likely that Glénat will be interested in it quickly. Because the French publisher has been publishing the various adaptations of Dragon Ball for a long time in this format which, let’s remember, consists of transpose the story of an animated film or an arc of an animated series into a full-color manga. In France, most of the films in the franchise have thus had the honor of a declination in anime comics, in addition to the whole of the ‘Z’ part of the animated version of Dragon Ball.
Regarding the most recent films, we can notably find in anime comics at Glénat the adaptations of Dragon Ball Z – Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Z – The resurrection of F and Dragon Ball Super – Broly. Despite everything, French readers do not have access to all the anime comics that exist in Japan, especially those concerning the first Dragon Ball films. The fault, according to Glénat, with paper rights “particularly delicate to negotiate” in these specific cases. Today, it is therefore the cover of the next anime comics dedicated to the last animated film that has been unveiled !

Because its release is now very close in Japan, the anime comics of the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero already reveals its cover.
