Germany midfielder Josua Kimmich commented on the 1-1 draw against Spain at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“We knew we were going to have to run a lot without the ball and we got through it. Spain had the ball all the time, but our scoring chances were sharper. In the future, we need to improve in sales, but now we have to be content with a draw and focus on the game of the last round, where everything will be decided,” Kimmich said.
The German national team scored the first point of the tournament and remains in the group E table in 4th place. In the final match of the group round, the Germans will play with Costa Rica.
