An online exhibition of indie games has begun within the Indie Cup Ukraine’22. As part of the event, 60 games from independent Ukrainian developers were submitted for the competition.
For a wide audience, this is a chance to look into the future of Ukrainian indie games that were created in difficult military conditions. Projects can be sorted by platform, genre and stage of development. Each profile contains information about the game and creators, gameplay videos and screenshots. 30 games from the general list have free demo versions.
For developers, this is an opportunity to announce their projects, meet potential publishers and take part in the competition. Games that meet the criteria of the competition are evaluated by a jury of experts. The winners will receive awards and prizes from the partners of the festival. Experts from Rockstar, Blizzard Entertainment, CD Projekt Red, Ubisoft, Devolver, Fellow Traveler, NVIDIA, Unreal Engine, Chucklefish, Larian and many others, as well as popular Twitch and YouTube influencers, were involved in the jury of previous Indie Cup seasons.
Indie Cup Ukraine’22 is a charity festival. Until December 22, on the website of the competition, the international and Ukrainian audience of the Indie Cup can donate money to a number of initiatives in support of Ukraine. Funds have already been raised for a reconnaissance drone for the 93rd Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Kholodny Yar, which defends the city of Bakhmut. Now there is a collection for a truck to deliver clean drinking water to Nikolaev, as well as for four charging stations for the military in the Kharkiv direction.
