In the long-running World of Tanks, there is of course a fresh promotion to match the Christmas season. The focus is on Hollywood stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Milla Jovovich, who ring in the holiday ops.
The festive season is celebrated in World of Tanks with the Holiday Ops – and they await with heaps of rewards and surprises. For example, in the new event, instead of your classic garage, a festive village full of joy awaits you – and also a gift: the brand-new M16/43 Sahariano, a Tier III Italian medium tank. This is a fast and maneuverable vehicle for a more fun and dynamic gameplay.
In the said village you will also meet the mentioned star guests Arnie and Milla in the in-game event. They accompany you through the event and give you special guest and skirmish missions.
Holiday Ops 2023 kicks off on December 1, 2022 at 7:00 a.m. German time. The event will then run until January 9, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. Right at the start, the garage is transformed into the aforementioned festive village. There are new landmarks: the headquarters with the two star guests, three decorative objects, zones where you can gather resources and more.
The resources are a special event currency and come in four types: clear crystal, pure emerald, warm amber and meteoric iron. There are also 10 levels of festive atmosphere that will determine your progress through the event and provide you with rewards. In order to improve the festive atmosphere, you need to upgrade decorative objects from level 1 to level 5 by collecting and investing in clear crystal and pure emerald.
If your priority is getting rewards for improving the festive atmosphere, then focus on upgrading decorative objects by investing in Clear Quartz and Pure Emerald. If you are more interested in customization items from our celebrities and economic bonuses, then prioritize completing their tasks by investing Warm Amber and Meteor Iron.
