11/28/2022 at 2:00 p.m. by Sebastian Glanzer – In his video “A NEW Era for WoW – Inside Blizzard HQ”, WoW influencer Preach Gaming gives us a detailed insight into the Blizzard headquarters in Irvine, where he uses the WoW Developers had the opportunity to speak on a wide range of topics.
Preach Gaming is a WoW influencer from the very beginning. Although he actually stopped at Shadowlands… He talked about it with WoW’s Game Director Ion Hazzikostas in the video “Didn’t you stop?” a joke But with Dragonflight, Preach is back, because the dragon expansion marks a new era for World of Warcraft.
“A NEW Era of WoW” (buy now) is also the title of his latest video, in which he provides insights into Blizzard headquarters that no journalist or influencer has had before him. In the hour-long video, which has been in the works for a little over a month, he speaks to the WoW development team about the lessons, successes and failures of the past, and together with the devs looks to the future of Dragonflight and beyond.

To start the video, Preach interviews WoW developers Holly Longdale & John Hight. As the video progresses, these and other devs face the critical questions that are important to Preach. Because of some of these critical decisions, he completely stopped his WoW content not so long ago.
Preach questions whether and how player feedback actually reaches the devs, what the removal of mandatory quests in Dragonflight means, what lessons have been learned from Borrowed Power, and he also touches on the sexism incidents in the company.
