Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn assessed the likelihood of signing a contract with 37-year-old Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo:
“I can rule out the transfer of Ronaldo to our team. We thought about it, we all love Cristiano, but the strategy is different. We have a clear idea, a philosophy of how our team should be put together.”
Ronaldo is now a free agent. His contract with Manchester United has been terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.
