publishing house Dotemu and studio Triskell Interactive were going to release a remake of a city-building simulator Pharaoh back in 2021. However, work on the updated version of the game in 1999 took much longer than planned. And only now the creators of the remake with the subtitle A New Era announced the end of development.
In February 2022 during the festival Steam “Games to be” the creators of the remake presented a demo of the game, and this allowed us to collect and study feedback from the community. As a result, significant changes and improvements have been made.
Now the main task of the authors of the game will be the choice of the optimal release date. For the best launch conditions, its release was scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. In the meantime, the team is debugging and polishing.
Before the release, we will have a conversation with the composer of Pharaoh: A New Era. And in January, the developers blog will talk about how community feedback has helped improve the game.
