Developers from the independent studio Fatshark have released a co-op action game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The project is available for purchase on Steam (for residents of the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation too) and in the Microsoft Store (sanctions apply here).
Darktide offers gameplay familiar to Vermintide fans, in which teams of four players get together and complete tasks and missions lasting from 20 to 40 minutes.
The action of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide takes place in the hive city of Tertium, the developers, as part of the marketing campaign, stated that their new cooperative action would greatly promote this universe in terms of plot, and gamers appreciated this positively (but more on that later).
In the new game, there was a place not only for the hand-to-hand combat system inherited from Vermintide 2, but also for an impressive shooting system in the spirit of WH40K. In the fresh Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, we can create a unique character and choose his appearance, voice and background. The authors of the project will also give the opportunity to choose a class for the hero, defining his unique traits and skills that will be useful in battle. Simply put, you can become a hardened veteran of the Imperium army or an ardent fanatic – the choice is up to the player.

The new cooperative action game from Fatshark was extremely warmly received by the public. At the time of this writing, the game has 80% positive reviews on Steam out of almost 22,000 written. Such a large number of evaluation materials on the first day of release is due to the opportunity provided by the developers to write preliminary reviews.
