Ubisoft releases Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.6.2. The patch originally announced for December 6th is now available for download early on. In a current blog entry, the developers go into the patch notes – and thus the list of changes and innovations. The final update includes, among other things, “The Final Chapter” as the conclusion of Eivor’s saga. With the epilogue, the developers want to complete “some of the storylines” that have developed in AC Valhalla and offer a conclusion to your time with the Raven Clan.
In order to play the final DLC, you must have completed the main story and Mythic arcs in Asgard and Jotunheim. In addition, your settlement should be upgraded to level 5 and include a Jomsviking warrior camp. And: Complete all objectives of the Order of the Elders and reveal its leader. A new quest also comes into play with the update. In “Shared History” erhält Roshan from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

New update early for download
With the 1.6.2 update, there is also the option to wear the hood at all times – a feature that has been frequently requested by the community. “This new option will be added to the game’s options menu and will give you the option to keep the hood visible even when you remove Eivor’s cloak,” writes Ubisoft. In the gameplay options, under the “Combat” tab, you can choose whether you want to wear the hood or not. Note that this is a purely cosmetic option with no gameplay implications.

Most items should be available, with the exception of items that come from licensed content. The offer changes every Tuesday at 3 p.m. With the 1.6.2 update, the festivals are also coming to an end. Those who could not attend all festivals should complete the quest “The First Night of Samhain”. After that, all rewards from past events are available for purchase from retailers throughout the game. As a thank you for the player support, the developers also want to add new mounts and a raven.
Update for Stadia: Ubisoft wants to integrate content with Ubisoft Connect
There is also an update for Stadia players. Again, the 1.6.2 content patch will be the last to appear for AC Valhalla. Users can play the action role-playing game on Stadia until January 18, 2023, after which the services will be terminated. Ubisoft announces that it is working on a solution to integrate Stadia content for PC with Ubisoft Connect. More details will follow soon. The current update is rounded off by a number of bug fixes and optimizations. The patch notes, for example, show that individual adjustments for the published DLCs are installed.
