On the old console generation, the futuristic voxel courier trips were frustrating at the end of 2020 with badly mixed technology, which the PS5 version should finally make us forget.
But that doesn’t work as convincingly as hoped: high resolution, DualSense integration, souped-up effects and higher visibility are welcome, as is the targeted 60 frames per second. Unfortunately, they often drop so badly that VRR no longer works and are not even reached with the new cockpit view. So it stays with the potentially fascinating experience that technically again misses its target.
Interesting cyberpunk adventure, but technically it doesn’t bring the hoped-for progress.
