The expansion “Lost Between Worlds” for Far Cry 6 will be released on December 6, 2023. Here is a first trailer and more information.
Ubisoft announced during the reveal livestream for the new Far Cry 6 expansion that the Lost Between Worlds DLC will be available on December 6th individually or as part of the Upgrade Pass for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC will be available through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC and Amazon Luna.
In Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds players begin an exciting new chapter in the story of Dani Rojas, set in a shattered version of Yara.
After exploring a mysterious meteorite impact site, Dani finds herself in a warped space between worlds, accompanied by an incorporeal life form named Fai. Players must repair Fai’s broken spaceship by collecting five lost shards, each of which increases Dani’s overall survival stats and brings her closer to being able to escape.
Players must rely on their guerrilla skills to retrieve the missing shards. 15 challenging and intense trials called Rifts are to be mastered.
In addition, the ones lurking around every corner are waiting Shardfaces, humanoid and animal crystalline enemies that must also be defeated. In each individual rift, like a shattered fortress in the sky or an underwater version of Esperanza full of deadly traps, players will encounter different dangers and otherworldly obstacles.
Each rift can be approached freely, and powerful weapons and tools can be discovered along the way.
In addition, players will be given the opportunity to collect Energy Fragments scattered around the area. These allow a rift to be resurrected and grant another attempt to approach the rift in a different way should the need arise. With multiple branching paths, platform-based exploration, and intense action, players can experience a unique experience as they conquer this twisted world.
