As reported by the always attentive Sal Romano of Gematsu, the Brazilian body that deals with evaluating video games in Brazil has recently updated Final Fantasy XVI pagethe game has obtained a 16+ rating, an assessment which therefore makes it inadvisable for the very young.
The arrival of age and content ratings that’s always good news as it usually means that the announcement of the release date is quite close and in the case of Final Fantasy 16 it could take place during The Game Awards.
According to a rumor, the Final Fantasy 16 release date could be announced during Geoff Keighley’s event, according to a series of rumors, pre-orders would open on December 7 or 8, the latter being the same day as The Game Awards (December 9, in Italy ) so it may not be the case.
Square Enix for its part has confirmed that the release date of Final Fantasy 16 will be announced by the end of 2022 and what better occasion than the vast audience of The Game Awards? We just have to wait a little less than ten days for confirmationin any case, by the end of the year we will find out the launch date of the new Final Fantasy, expected for summer 2023.
