In 10 months of 2022, players made 58% more purchases through online services than in 2021. The turnovers of the sites themselves increased by 63%, and the average check increased by 3% (up to 488 rubles). The solvent audience grew by 77%, most often goods are paid for by bank cards (55%); Gaming PC sales increased by 32%, but consoles decreased by 30%; Approximately 81% of users spend up to a thousand rubles on games per month, 13% – from a thousand to five thousand rubles. From five to ten thousand are ready to spend 2%, and 4% can afford purchases worth more than ten thousand rubles per month; 75% of the population has at least one gaming mobile application installed; Among those surveyed, 39% play PCon smartphones — 24%. PlayStation collected 16%, Xbox — 12%, a Nintendo – 6%. The rest prefer cloud services. At the same time, 77% prefer to play alone, while 23% choose multiplayer projects; Among the popular genres were simulations (24%), shooters (23%), RPGs (13%) and strategies (13%). Quests have 12%, action games have collected only 8%, and MMOs with fighting games have even less – 3% each. At the same time, only 1% of respondents spoke in favor of MOBA; About 12% of respondents buy games every week, 13% – once a month, 11% – several times a month. 16% are ready to spend money on games every few months (the same amount per year). The remaining 32% noted that they do not buy new games; 34% spend an hour a day on games, and 29% launch games only a few times a week (14% once a month, and 23% a year). Most of the audience prefers to play in the evening (65%), among fans of night gatherings 14%, and morning ones – 8%.
In addition, the report notes that streamers also began to earn more – the turnover on the platform ЮStream increased by 20% compared to 2021 and amounted to almost 39 million rubles. The amount of the average transfer from a user to streamers increased by 3% to 341 rubles.
In addition, users have become more likely to buy keyboards (32% higher demand) and gaming mice (45% increase). More than a third of electronics purchases were made in the first quarter of the year. But since last October, however, there has been a new drop in sales.
