The application Messages do Google has a new “Sent” sound in its Android version. At first, the change has been in testing for a few weeks, but it doesn’t seem to be a detail that everyone notices instantly. The new audio is a little quieter and less long lasting.
The novelty is being implemented for a wider range of users of the company’s operating system. However, as is to be expected, the change does not seem to have been pleasant for everyone. That is, there are people who liked the new message sending sound and others who prefer the older model.
Recently, Google has been adding some miscellaneous changes to the Messages app. For example, the company started testing a function that allows you to react with any emoji during conversations in the beta version of the application. Likewise, there are other, more subtle changes, such as changing the gallery’s photo picker through the program.
There are also security measures such as advanced encryption testing in groups. In this way, the sending of RCS sent in this case will have end-to-end encryption, similar to what is seen in WhatsApp. Finally, this is one of the apps that will receive new icons soon, along with the Phone and Contacts apps.
In the coming weeks, it is possible that more and more people will have access to the new message sending sounds. Now, what about you? Have you noticed this change? Tell me in the comments if you liked it or if you prefer the old ‘beep’ for this action.
