The new MacBook Pro was expected to hit the market before the end of 2022, most likely in November. But… The worst happened! Apple decided to postpone the launch to 2023, for reasons still unknown, but probably related to inflation, but also to production problems on the part of TSMC.
Having said all that, the new models will take advantage of last year’s redesign, with a big new feature on the SoC side used (M2 Pro and M2 Max), as well as some other interesting changes. However, the release date is now slated for the first quarter of 2023.
A longer wait, but apparently, according to one of the most interesting leakers in the Apple world, it will be worth the wait.
MacBook Pro 2023 has been delayed… But it will be worth it!
Therefore, according to LeaksApplePro, while the design changes little or nothing, the performance increase will actually be very interesting. We are talking about more performance, more fluidity, and greater energy efficiency, which in turn should result in a light, powerful, beautiful machine, and of course, capable of offering excellent autonomy. The only thing it won’t be is… Well… Cheap! After all, with rising inflation, a price increase must be inevitable in the new generation, as it happened in the recently launched iPhone 14.
Incidentally, according to the same ‘leaker’, the new MacBook Pro will also bet on more powerful cooling systems, in order to nullify the overheating problems that the most recent Mac notebooks based on the SoC M2 have presented in recent months.
It should also be noted that in addition to improvements in SoC and cooling, a bet on new generation RAM is also expected. In other words, it will be an upgrade in several ways, this being the ultimate MacBook Pro.
