The Korean version of the MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising has received a major update that adds Siege Mode. In this mode, players take part in a large-scale battle with the goal of capturing or defending the castle, depending on the side.
The siege consists of four stages:
Siege Ticket Auction (bidding) – First, an auction is held for the qualifying tickets required to participate in the siege. Up to 3 tickets are allocated for each server, and bets are made in gold.Qualification – Guilds that receive tickets participate in the preliminary round. The three guilds with the highest stake gather in the arena and fight in a 4x4x4 format. The guilds of the two winning teams will participate in the siege.Preparing for a siege – Attacking and defending guilds can register allied guilds and invite mercenaries. The attacking side can create items from skill scrolls that are allowed to be used in siege warfare.siege war – The defending guild gathers at the entrance, and the attacking side spawns at the 1st resurrection point of each castle – the point may change, depending on the situation. The attacking guild wins if the castle is captured 3 times after the destruction of the outer gate of the castle and the power unit. To win, the defending side must hold out for the allotted time by defending the castle.
The patch also added a guild crafting system, new passive skills for all classes, guild donation rewards, and new character stats. In addition, changes have been made to guild dungeon rewards, the Shadow Keep dungeon, balance, and more. You can find the full list in Korean on a special page.
