The authors of the Shredders game announced that they will release a project on a new platform for this winter season. The game was previously only available on Xbox Series X | S and PC. Now the project will get to the Playstation 5 – the game will be released on the Sony console next week: December 6th.
Recall that the release of the game Shredders on Xbox Series X | S and PC took place in March 2022, immediately after the release, the project was added to Game Pass. Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer called Shredders one of his most anticipated games upon its announcement, but the project itself didn’t end up receiving a lot of positive reviews upon release. Shredders currently has an Opencritic score of 69 out of 100, and since its release, the game has received virtually no updates with new content.
Shredders is a snowboarding sim that has been praised by critics for its good physics and lots of “pro references” but has been criticized for its high entry threshold.
