The second trailer of Super Mario Bros. The Movie introduces new characters that did not appear in the film’s debut trailer, so we can draw up a (provisional and not definitive) list of heroes and villains who will take part in the new film of the famous Nintendo mascot.
Beyond Mario (Chris Mario) e Luigi (Charlie Day)the second trailer confirms the presence of Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and of Donkey Kong (voiced by Seth Rogen)also present Cranky Kong (Fred Armisen), obviously Bowser (Jack Black) and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key).
Other characters spotted include Foreman Spike (from the video game Wrecking Crew), Kamek, King Penguin and the Koopa soldiers. We then saw the Cheep Cheep fish, harmless Goombas and obviously carnivorous plants, as well as mushrooms …. many mushrooms, and just as many tubes. Will there be more mushrooms or more pipes? We’ll find out…
If the first trailer had surprisingly confirmed the presence of settings taken from Luigi’s Mansionthe second trailer reveal the circuits of Mario Kartcomplete with racing cars ready to whiz along the most iconic tracks, such as the colorful Pista Arcobaleno.
