A few hours after the mysterious Street Fighter 6-themed Capcom post, which let us foresee the arrival of news, Bandai Namco also does something very similar with its Tekken 8.
In the case of the three-dimensional fighting game, the developers were not directly talking about the upcoming news. Bandai Namco has indeed decided to send a small gift to some content creatorswho immediately took the opportunity to share the contents of the package on their official social channels: the package in question does not just include a T-shirt themed Tekken 8, but also comes with a ticket confirming the presence of the game during the ceremony of the The Game Awards 2022.
Obviously what will be shown of the game during the show organized by Geoff Keighley is not specified, but it is unlikely that the developers will limit themselves to showing some gameplay footage and announcing new fighters. In fact, it is not excluded that the stage for next week’s event may have been chosen by the team of Harada to announce the release date of the fighting game to the world.
While waiting to find out more, we remind you that Tekken 8 has been redesigned from scratch for the new graphics engine.
