“Disney Speedstorm” will not be released until next year, as announced by Gameloft in a press release. The additional development time should benefit the quality of the racing game.
Gameloft’s free-to-play racing game Disney Speedstorm will be released later than expected. The launch will not take place until next year, as the company announced today. A market launch was previously planned for this year.
The Disney Speedstorm postponement is intended to help meet expectations and provide players with a more immersive racing experience.
A statement on the racing game’s postponement reads: “We have worked diligently to create an amazing racing experience for Disney Speedstorm that captures our vision of the exciting magic that fans find in their favorite Disney and Pixar characters and games. We want fans to not only be entertained, but also enjoy a fast-paced and competitive racing experience that they will continue to play for years to come.”
Therefore, after careful consideration, the decision was made to delay the global release of Disney Speedstorm to meet our expectations and provide players with an even more immersive racing experience, customization options, game modes and more.
Thanks for the feedback
The company is grateful for all of the feedback and support from players who participated in the beta earlier this year. “We plan to keep fans informed of our progress with regular updates as we move towards release. So stay tuned for the next few weeks.”
With Disney Speedstorm, the developers promise numerous characters from the Disney universe, including Captain Jack Sparrow, Mulan, Mickey Mouse, Sulley the Beast and more. In the course of the fast-paced challenges, it is necessary to improve the stats of each racer and use unique abilities.
