On Monday, Musk said that Apple “threatened to remove Twitter” from the App Store, but Tim Cook told the entrepreneur that this was not the case.
Elon Musk visited the Apple campus, where CEO Tim Cook gave him a tour. Elon posted a video of the walk on Twitter, in which you can see the shadows of two people – him and someone else who looks like Cook.
On Monday, Musk publicly said that Apple planned to remove his social network from the App Store, and then criticized the company’s policy of receiving a 30% commission on every in-app purchase. The billionaire even delayed the launch of Twitter Blue, a paid subscription that adds a verification tick and access to a few more priority services for $8 a month.
On Wednesday, Musk wrote that he had a “misunderstanding” with Apple, but Tim Cook subsequently cleared up the situation.

It’s unclear if the CEOs discussed the commission on the App Store, Musk has been silent on the matter for now. However, it was noticed that Elon deleted a tweet with a meme in which he stated that he was ready to “go to war” so as not to pay a percentage of Apple.
