The search for a new James Bond is apparently in full swing. Since it became known that Daniel Craig is no longer available as Her Majesty’s secret agent, different names of potential successors have been circulating in the film scene. Although the theatrical release of James Bond’s next screen adventure seems to be years away, test shots with possible leading actors have apparently already taken place. One of them, who recently got into a spectacular fight with Brad Pitt on the big screen, seems to be particularly popular with the producers.
Possible new James Bond: Who is Aaron Taylor-Johnson?
Aaron Tayler-Johnson recently had an action-packed argument with Hollywood star Brad Pitt. However, this only took place on the big screen. Director David Leitch’s (John Wick, Deadpool, Fast & Furious) Bullet Train sees Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband engage in a gripping duel as the two race across Japan on a high-speed train.
32-year-old Brit Aaron Tayler-Johnson is no stranger. Kick-Ass saw him hire himself as a wannabe superhero, and Christopher Nolan’s (Dark Knight, Inception) TeneT starred alongside Robert Pattinson (The Batman) and John David Washington, son of Hollywood legend Denzel Washington.
The private life of the actor from England caused a stir. At the age of 19 he announced that he was engaged to director Sam Taylor-Wood, 23 years his senior. The 32-year-old actor and the 55-year-old filmmaker now have two children together and changed their last name to Taylor-Johnson following their marriage.

As reported by the English media, test recordings with potential main actors for the new Bond film recently took place in the legendary Pinewood Studios in London. Aaron Taylor-Johnson was also invited and apparently did quite well. According to chief producer Barbara Broccoli, he is said to have risen to become one of the top favorites for the post of double zero agent.

Nevertheless, it remains exciting to follow which actor will ultimately win the race for the coveted role of James Bond.
