Pokémon Scarlet / Violet game news: a big patch to fix bugs and add a long-awaited mode

We know it: Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet may change the traditional formula of the saga, but they are nonetheless based on a technique… problematic. So to speak, it was becoming urgent to release a patch and Nintendo has just issued one today.
Pokémon (1)Go
We’ve been hearing a lot about Pokemon Scarlet/Purple lately. For good, since the developers are finally offering here an evolution of the formula with a whole open-world to explore and other refreshed mechanics (not to mention exceptional sales), but also for bad: from a graphic and technical point of view, this is where the shoe pinches.
Indeed, the bugs are legion and if many complain about them, others make fun of it by compiling the most unusual and absurd glitches. Spread the word : Nintendo doesn’t really take it with humor and has just made its official mea culpa, delivering a big update of around 1 GB today.
Fewer bugs, more PvP
It is thus from its official site that Big N admitted to being aware of the various technical problems and that he intended to correct them.
We are aware that players may experience issues that affect performance. Our goal is always to give players a positive experience with our games and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We take player feedback seriously and work to improve the games.
That is what is said. Alas, today’s update doesn’t have a really detailed description. We know that an issue preventing the music from playing correctly during certain fights has been fixed and that “other bug fixes have been made”, but alas, no more. It will therefore be necessary to realize it for yourself, controller in hand.
Nevertheless, the update brings a treat expected from some players: a ranked PvP mode for the most competitive among us. As Nintendo says, Season 1 of Ranked Battles begins today and these will be organized directly in the Battle Stadium.
