Founder Quantic Dream David Cage gave an interview to the Japanese edition of IGN, in which he discussed the upcoming Star Wars Eclipse and the studio’s previous hit, Detroit: Become Human.
According to Cage, Star Wars Eclipse and Detroit: Become Human will be really very different from each other. Of course, the developers will use their past experience, but the new Quantic Dream game will not be an imitation of the previous one. – it will be a unique experience.
Cage named Star Wars Eclipse is “the studio’s most ambitious project” and Detroit: Become Human is “the most complete project” and the best implementation of Quantic Dream’s narrative vision, which was born 25 years ago.
It is known that the action of Star Wars Eclipse will unfold during the Rise of the Republic – 200-300 years before the events of the first episode of the saga. According to rumors, the Zaraan race will appear in the game. By the way, David Cage is not interested in film adaptation of his games. Instead, Quantic Dream oversees the development of interactive television.
