News game Valve improvises Santa Claus and will win dozens of Steam Decks during the Game Awards

Want to get a Steam Deck, but can’t afford it right now? Do not panic, Valve will offer a package during the Game Awards!
We just learned that Valve would offer Steam Decks to players who will follow the Game Awards in a few days.
A free Steam Deck every minute!
Yes Steam Deck is a bit too expensive for your Santa this year, you might be able to pick it up for free! In effect, Valve announces that Steam Decks will be distributed for free during the Game Awards, during the ceremony broadcast on the night of December 8 to 9 from 1:30 a.m. with us. And for once, we can not accuse Valve of being stingy: the firm announces to offer a Steam Deck every minute ! If we don’t have the duration of the ceremony yet (especially since a live event like this tends to go beyond the planned schedule), this therefore announces a three-digit number of Steam Decks offered (Last year, the ceremony lasted more than three hours, which would announce more than 180 Steam Decks offered this year if we stay on the same basis of broadcast time).
To celebrate The Game Awards, the reservation-free availability of the Steam Deck, and gaming in general, we’ll be giving away a 512GB Steam Deck every minute for the duration of The Game Awards Live Stream.

Valve therefore proposes to win a 512 GB Steam Deck, the most high-end model. Sold on Steam for 679 euros currently it contains a NVMe SSD storageand anti-reflective glassand carrying case exclusive to this model, a virtual keyboard theme exclusive, and Steam community profile bundle exclusive to 256 and 512 GB models.
To participate in the competition, you will only have two things to do : from now on, we must register for the contest by clicking on the link displayed on the dedicated Steam page. It’s necessary reside in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom or in one of the countries of the European Union to participate. Then it will have to be present on the SteamTV broadcast of the Game Awards to be eligible, during the ceremony. Also note that you must have a Steam account with made a purchase on the platform between November 14, 2021 and November 14, 2022. This rule is put in place to ensure that malicious players will not create hundreds of inactive accounts just to recover the Steam Deck during the evening.
