Moreover, we have several genres that will please all members of the family and that feature well-known actors. These are the four premieres this week, in Portugal, on streaming platforms.
1. Slow Horses Season 2 – Apple TV
One of the most acclaimed series available on Apple TV is now returning for a second season that has been long awaited by fans.
Gary Oldman plays one of the main roles in a story that follows a somewhat dysfunctional MI5 team that, this time, has to solve a mysterious murder case.
2. Lady Chatterley’s Lover – Netflix
This film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by DH Lawrence and was praised by several international critics for presenting a moving and authentic story of forbidden love.
The story follows Lady Chatterley who lives trapped in an unhappy marriage. Until the day she gets involved in an extramarital affair with her husband’s game warden.
3. Scrooge: A Christmas Carol – Netflix
And here is the film dedicated to the festive season in which we find ourselves. This is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ short story that is presented in the form of a musical cartoon.
The story is well known to all of us, but let’s remember it here. On a very cold Christmas Eve, the miser Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of the past and present to have the ability to change his future.
4. Branson – HBO Max
This is a four-part documentary series that sheds light on the life of famous British businessman Richard Branson.
Exactly 16 days before he was the first passenger to travel into space in his own ship, renowned entrepreneur and already decorated Sir spoke with director Chris Smith, walking through his adventures and unique undertakings.
