Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 was released recently and, unsurprisingly, many players are working on it day and night. Some even go further by directly searching the game files in the hope of finding some well-kept secrets… Just like today.

Datamining is a fairly common practice, especially in video games: it involves digging into the source code or files of a program to unearth secrets that have not yet been revealed. A method that very often bears fruit and the Call of Duty have been regularly the object: inevitably, it was to be expected that Warzone 2.0, released at the end of November, was also scrutinized.
And as much to say that what Top_Scientist4578 found there is quite amusing: we are therefore talking about a system of extraction by balloons. Yes, you read that right : it’s about hanging on to a balloon (or maybe hanging on items) before flying into the air and leaving the map.
Call of MGS
A fun and rather wacky mechanism, but above all not unknown to the battalion since it is taken directly from the Metal Gear Solid franchise! After all, the two sagas offer a meticulous military universe, but as much to say that we did not expect Activision-Blizzard on this ground.
For the moment, however, it is only a find in the game files and only an icon of the extraction balloon has been found: in apart from that, nothing has been announced for the moment so you will have to be patient.
It is recalled that in the famous DMZ mode, it is precisely a question of having to secure certain objects: the extraction balloons would then be ideal to send them directly to the base. Besides, a balloon would cost 2000 dollars in the store, according to datamining.
