There’s a new Steam Users Hardware Report. The budget video card Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 took the first place in popularity, which displaced the recent leader GeForce GTX 1060.
The share of users of the GeForce GTX 1650 is 6.27%, the GeForce GTX 1060 accounts for 5.77%. Third place goes to the GeForce RTX 2060, which is used by 4.64% of Steam users. Interestingly, the mobile GeForce RTX 3060 is in fourth place, and the desktop GeForce GTX 1050 Ti closes the top five. Despite the popularity of older GeForce GTX models, current GeForce RTX traced graphics cards already occupy a significant share.
It is worth paying attention to the total dominance of Nvidia in this rating. AMD’s best result is thirteenth with integrated Radeon Graphics and less than 2% of users. The mobile graphics Intel Xe Graphics, which is used by 1.57% of the players, is quite a bit inferior. The legendary Radeon RX 580 is used by only 1.2% of users. The new GeForce RTX 4090/4080 have not yet made it into the rankings, but the top solutions of the previous generation are presented quite well – the share of the GeForce RTX 3080 has reached 1.84%, while the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has 0.79%.
