A funny story happened in China. A woman tried to smuggle Intel Alder Lake processors and iPhones by pretending to be pregnant. A resident of Guangdong province in China recently arrived in Macau, which is a special administrative region within the PRC. While trying to drive back through Gongbei Port, she attracted the attention of the customs authorities. The woman was allegedly in her sixth month of pregnancy, but walked freely and did not experience discomfort. Upon a detailed examination, a fake belly was found in her, in which electronic goods were hidden, securely taped with adhesive tape.
In this way, the woman tried to smuggle 202 12th generation Intel Core processors and nine latest iPhone mobile phones without paying taxes.
At the beginning of the year, there was a similar case at Chinese customs. In March, a man was caught trying to take out 160 processors (mostly Intel Core i5-12600KF) on himself, tying them to his body.
