Monster Hunter Rise will be officially released for Xbox. In addition, the game lands directly for publication in Xbox Game Pass.
Just a few days ago we reported that Monster Hunter Rise could be released for Xbox and should land directly on Xbox Game Pass for release. This has now been officially confirmed.
Thus, Microsoft announces that Monster Hunter Rise on 20 January 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and Game Pass.
In Monster Hunter Rise, you combine signature hunting action with exciting new acrobatic combat. Enjoy enhanced visual options on Xbox Series X, plus content from previously released title updates (up to version 10) and more coming with Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak in spring 2023.
Die Xbox Series X offers you 4K with up to 60fps or 1080p with up to 120fps. Of course, this game also offers 3D audio and Dolby Atmos.
You can hunt alone or team up with up to three other players online for cooperative hunts. You can explore the world together and continue your progress, whether you hunt on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S or via the Xbox App for Windows PC.

Launching on January 20th, the game will feature content and event quests from the previously released title updates (up to version 10), offering dozens of hours of intense hunting action and plenty of rewards to earn. This also includes some fun co-op quests with other series where you take on special themed quests to get Street Fighter, Okami and Mega Man styled gear to name a few.

Finally, an elder dragon was also spotted who managed not to be infested. The Exalted Chameleos managed to form a symbiosis with the Qurio, and through this fiendish union he gained incredible power and even more vicious attacks. Hunters brave enough to challenge these overwhelming foes will receive materials to craft new weapons and armor that have new skills.
A new level of anomaly quests has also been added, which sometimes includes such difficult opponents as Gore Magala and Espinas. Anomaly Investigations will also be expanded, with a new level cap of 120 and new infested materials. Hunters savvy enough to survive these challenges can unlock new options for Quriose crafting, including new anomaly slots and other new weapon upgrades.
Fashion hunters can also sit up and take notice, as Title Update 2 introduced Layered Armor. This system allows to customize the look of the weapons to combine their favorite stats and skins. Last but not least, the update also introduced new paid content such as the Master Arlow layered armor, layered weapons, gestures, poses, hairstyles and more.
