Well, that didn’t take long. Capcom has now officially confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will actually be coming to PlayStation and Xbox next month. The critically acclaimed Monster Hunter title was first released for Nintendo Switch before later coming to PC and has sold over 11 million copies to date. The game will offer 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as 3D audio, so you can experience the people and monsters of Kamura Village in the best possible way. Ranged and shield weapons will even support DualSense’s adaptive triggers. In Monster Hunter Rise, you have fourteen weapons to choose from, a range of armor to equip, and additional unique increasingly powerful gear to craft from the corpses of your fallen quarries. You can play alone or with up to three other online hunters in co-op mode. With the new “Wirebug” you can hold on to a rope and zoom around. You can also use the “Wyvern Riding” technique to temporarily take control of a monster.
Monster Hunter Rise appears on 20 January 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC.
