While waiting for the start of Season 2 of Overwatch 2, players find themselves forced to bear an annoying bug ready to ruin entire games out of the blue, altering their course immediately: this new glitch makes the enemy team invisible to anyone.
The launch of the free-to-play hero shooter from Blizzard Entertainment was far from smooth, as the serious bugs of Bastion and Torbjörn have shown in the past. This time around, however, the glitch may have driven some players over the edge since ruins a game by making it unrecoverable.
You can see an example of the bug in action at the bottom of the news in the Twitter post published by a streamer: during a match, the enemy team became completely invisible even though while still being able to shoot and deal damage. Looking at the rest of the comments, where the community has gathered to criticize the work of Blizzard Entertainment, it seems that this bug has existed in Overwatch 2 since it was released, although it manifests itself in several different ways: for example, if they do not become invisible they turn into simple dots.
At the time of writing the news it is not clear what leads to the activation of this glitch and, in the official post published on the Blizzard forum again last October, there is no response from Blizzard staff, much less an acknowledgment of the bug. In other words, its resolution still seems a long way off.
In the meantime, here’s when PvE is coming to Overwatch 2.
