PlayStation Plus game news: a cult Star Wars game would arrive in December!

If the “free” games for the month of December for PlayStation Plus have already been unveiled, this is not yet the case for those of the Extra and Premium formula. However, a leak would already reveal a title well known to players… but not in the expected version. Explanations.
Star Wars Battlefront II au rapport
It’s official: all PlayStation Plus subscribers (regardless of plan) will receive Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant and Divine Knockout for the month of December. However, the batch of titles concerning the PlayStation Plus Extra (only PS4 and PS5 games) and the PlayStation Plus Premium (PS5 and PS4 games, but also PSOne, PS2, PSP and PS3) is not yet known.
However, it was without counting on this little leak, pointed out by Push Square, which allows a little scoop in advance: the iconic Star Wars Battlefront II would arrive in December, within the PlayStation Plus Premium. A really good news, except that it would be… the PSP version, and not the PS2 version as one would hope.
A cult game
A priori donc, it is the PlayStation Portable version of Star Wars Battlefront II which would be added and not that on PlayStation 2, however better and better optimized. A title released on November 18, 2005 and which marked its time for its sense of large-scale battle, both on land and in the air or in space, with a multitude of supporting characters.
There was a single player mode of course, asking you to play as a stormtrooper to serve the Emperor between Revenge of the Sith until the outcome of Return of the Jedi, but also and above all a multiplayer which had marked the spirits with a hot iron.
We will therefore wait for an official confirmation from Sony for the inclusion of the PSP version in the PlayStation Plus Premium. Remember that this PS Plus formula – the most expensive – has offered PS1 and PSP games since its launch, running from an in-house emulator and allowing some features like quick save.
