After the official announcement in the summer, the PlayStation version of the social adventure “Sky: Children of the Light” was given a specific release date. It starts this month.
After the release for the mobile platforms and the switch, “Sky: Children of the Light” was also announced for the PlayStation 4 this summer.
At the end of the week, the developers at Thatgamecompany (“Flower”) gave the implementation for the PS4 a final release date and announced that the social adventure will be available for the PlayStation 4 from December 6, 2022. Just like on the other platforms, a release in the form of a Free2Play title is also set here.
In addition, “Sky: Children of the Light” supports PlayStation 5 backwards compatibility and can therefore also be played on Sony’s current console.
Play together with the mobile and switch community
The social adventure makes use of the crossplay feature and allows you to play together with users on the mobile platforms or on the switch. Sky: Children of the Light is a relaxing MMO-style gaming experience where you can interact with other players and discover the mysteries that the world of Sky has to offer.
“There is a lot to prepare to welcome these new players. And we look forward to sharing more details in the future. However, rest assured that PlayStation will have crossplay with other platforms so Sky kids can meet friends playing on mobile or the Switch (in fact, as we prepare everything for PlayStation folks, beta testers can see specific changes in upcoming test updates )”, it was said about the work on the PlayStation implementation.
