It’s been almost two years since The Mandalorian season 2 finale aired on Disney Plus. So it’s no wonder that Star Wars fans have been wanting the date for Season 3 for some time now. As part of Comic-Con in Brazil, it was finally announced when we can accompany Din Djarin, Grogu and Co. again on their new adventures through the galaxy. However, the start will be later than previously thought.
When is Season 3 available on Disney Plus?
While Mandalorian was originally scheduled to begin publication in February 2023, Mandalorian season 3 has now been pushed back to March 1, 2023. There is no official information yet on how many episodes the season will offer – but after the previous two seasons consisted of eight episodes, this should probably be the case again from March 2023. There will be a new episode every Wednesday.
New scenes at Comic-Con
Disney panel attendees in São Paulo got the exclusive chance to see brand new scenes from the new season of The Mandalorian. Mando actor Pedro Pascal was also on stage. However, the fresh material from the series was not shared with Star Wars fans on the Internet. Most recently, we got a first trailer for the third season in September. The cast of The Mandalorian Season 3
Of course, some characters that we already know from the previous seasons will return in the upcoming episodes. There will be a reunion with Carl Weathers in his role as Greef Karga, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto or Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing is known. Actress Gina Carano (Cara Dune) is no longer there after being kicked out. Giancarlo Esposito is also celebrating his comeback – and probably with a completely new look for Moff Gideon.
