Cameroon national football team goalkeeper Davis Epassie commented on the victory of his team in the match of the 3rd round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Group G over the Brazilian national team:
“We did not reach the playoffs of the tournament, which was very important for us. But, in any case, we can be proud of what we have done today. How did you feel when there were great players in front of me? It’s not a problem for me, it’s just names. When you play football it’s 11 against 11 and Cameroon has a lot of quality players too. The Brazilians told me after the match that I had a great game.”
It should be noted that despite the sensational victory over the Brazilians with a score of 1:0, Cameroon failed to reach the playoffs of the tournament.
